KENOSHA, Wis. - On Wednesday night, Carthage College's men's basketball team clinched another conference victory, triumphing over North Central (Ill.) by a final score of 95-75.

  • North Central (Ill.) narrowed the lead to just one with a jumper at 12:25 in the first half.
  • Reestablishing control, Tanner Lamb sank a long-range three-pointer, propelling the Firebirds to a seven-point lead.
  • At 7:36 of the first, AJ Williams extended the advantage to 26-15 with a long-range shot.
  • Carthage maintained their lead throughout the first half, heading into halftime with a 43-40 margin.
  • In the second half, a jumper from AJ Williams increased the Firebirds' lead to nine.
  • A three-point shot by AJ Johnson and a pair of successful free throws by Anthony Bernero pushed the score to 71-60 with 9:21 left.
  • A decisive sequence of eight consecutive free throws from AJ Johnson secured Carthage's victory, finishing with a final score of 95-70.
