NAPERVILLE, Ill. — The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) announced their Dave Wrath All-Academic honorees on Friday, with 64 student-athletes from Carthage College earning the award. The school's Jack Swartz Academic Award Winners went to Kyle Czerak of men's basketball, and Cassie Hyland of women's bowling.

The Dave Wrath Academic All-Conference list comprises those individuals that achieved an overall grade-point average of 3.30 or above and have served at least one year in residency at their respective school.

The Firebirds were led by women's swimming, who had 19 total student-athletes earn CCIW All-Academic honors. Czerak, a senior guard for the Firebirds men's basketball team, owns a 3.96 GPA as he pursues a major in math with a minor in secondary education. Hyland, a sophomore on the women's bowling team, is a psychology major with a 4.0 GPA.
