Mages Collects All-American Honors in Breaststroke Event

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Carthage College men's swim student-athlete Mitchell Mages was an All-American honorable mention award winner in the 100-yard breaststroke on Friday of the NCAA Championship.

Mages, from Skokie, Ill., started the day with a 54.76 clocked time in the preliminary morning event. The prelim time set the senior up for a 16th place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke in the night session with a time of 55.87 which is an All-American honorable mention performance.

Mages wraps up the NCAA Championships swimming in the 200-yard breaststroke on Saturday, March 19.
