Hanna Holloway got in the score column with her sixth goal of the season for a 12-5 score. The Thunder responded with three unanswered goals to cut it to 12-8 heading to the fourth.

Both teams traded goals to start the fourth quarter then Trine made it a three-point game with a goal with 9:33 left. The Firebirds closed out the game scoring four unanswered goals sealing the win 17-10.

Head Coach John Sung

"Trine is a very good team and coming into today they were 3-0 so I am really happy with how we handled them. Our re-defend was very good and when it got tight, Margaux Giacotto really stepped up. We thought she was going to get her 100th goal at the end and she had a really good shot but the goalie made a good save. We're excited to start off our spring break with a W. I like where we are right now and we are looking better each day. Looking forward to improving and our next game against Guilford."
