CHICAGO, Ill. – The Carthage College men's and women's diving team competed at the UIC Diving Invitational on Saturday at Flames Natatorium.

For the women, Kaycee Siears recorded a 147.17 score, and Patricia Banasik had a score of 122.45 in the one-meter competition. During the three-meter event, Siears scored 151.30 while Banasik 138.65 tallied a score.

Sam Wallace placed sixth in the men's one-meter event recording a score of 264.80 competing against schools from Division I to Division III. Daniel Staicu registered a score of 108.40 in the event. In the three-meter event, Wallace had a score of 182.60 while Staciu tallied a 92.60. 

The swim and dive teams now gear up for the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Championships with diving events starting on Saturday, February 12.
