"A tough conference battle to finish off the regular season. We were very strong in the first half, outshooting Elmhurst, so it was disappointing to be 1-1 at halftime. The second half was an even battle, and the boys showed character again to equalize late in the game. Now we focus on the tournament, and we welcome Elmhurst back in just three days' time for what I'm sure will be another battle!"
- The Firebirds begin the Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) men's soccer tournament on Saturday, October 29.
- Carthage will be the No. 4 seed in the tournament and host No. 5 Elmhurst starting at 6 p.m.
