KENOSHA, Wis. — Competing in their fifth home meet of the season, the Carthage College men's wrestling team fell 28-18 to Wisconsin-Stevens Point Thursday night inside Tarble Arena. 

At 141 pounds, Cole Nelson recorded a decision win 9-3. At 174 pounds, Devin Rogers picked up a 5-2 decision win over his opponent. River Rogers won by fall in the 149 bout while Collin Ruiz nearly recorded a third decision win for Carthage but fell 10-8. 

The Firebirds will wrestle in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Duals, which North Central (Ill.) will host on Saturday, January 22.
