Men’s Soccer Hosts MSOE for Exhibition

5/1/2021 9:36:00 PM

KENOSHA, Wis. — The Carthage men's soccer team took on the Milwaukee School of Engineering in an exhibition match on Saturday night at Art Keller Field.

"Today couldn't have worked out any better," said head coach Steve Domin. "Between the weather, our opponent, and the script-to-play an entire two-deep lineup, it was inspiring"

"MSOE, fresh off winning their league, approached much of the match the same way, and we were delighted to see some players solidify their roles and futures," said Domin. "A couple of graduating seniors played a significant role."

"Luis Garduno and Arnie Arevalo played really well in possession of the ball," said Domin. "Our keepers had solid days, and particularly Steve Owens, who will be graduating after this Spring. We are proud they were able to deliver when called on."

Up next, Carthage will host Elmhurst on Wednesday, May 5 at 7 p.m.
