"What a great team weekend for the Firebirds!! Our practices leading up to the weekend had been good and it really felt like the team was coming together!
Haley Horner was playing at a different level this weekend. She was dominant at the net!
Molly Skoda had a big weekend on the outside as well. She really raised her level of play.
Kathryn Shuty and
Jordyn Barrette did a great job distributing the ball to the hitters. Kathryn also did a nice job blocking and Jordyn went on some great service runs.
Autumn McGee was so tough on defense!
Andrea Kozak is the team's emotional leader and she really played well all weekend.
Nicole Acton really blocked and served well. Our back row of Aubree Buchegar,
Megan Dawrant, and
Olivia Masso was clutch passing and play some impressive defense! Our bench really contributed and it was great team bonding this weekend! I am SO proud of all of them coming together to bring the trophy back to Carthage!"
