Men’s Swim and Dive Wraps up First Day of Calvin Quad Invitational

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Carthage College men's swimming and diving team concluded day one of the Calvin Quad Invitational on Friday.

During day one, the Firebirds had four top-five finishes during Friday's events as the relay team of Mitchell Mages, Adam Moskus, Conner Hwang, and Garrett Shuldes recorded a second-place time of 1:25.32 in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

Paul Busse registered a time of 4:59.33 in the 500-yard freestyle for fifth place, while Mages took third in the 50-yard freestyle race.

Later, Hwang, Austin Johnson, Mages, and Michael Bartczyszyn placed third in the 400-yard medley relay.

Day two of the Calvin Quad Invitational concludes on Saturday, November 6.
