First Half Goals Sink Firebirds at Carroll

WAUKESHA, Ill. — The Carthage College women's soccer team fell in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) action to Carroll (Wis.) 2-0 on Wednesday at Schnieder Stadium.

Carroll (Wis.) (10-3-2, 2-2-1 CCIW) got on the board first scoring 26 minutes into the game. Three minutes later, the Pioneers doubled their lead with another goal. Faith Roberts, Erin Otto, and Malaika Bigirindavyi all tallied shots in a span of four minutes for Carthage (3-11, 1-4 CCIW) in the second half but could not find the back of the net.
