NAPERVILLE, Ill. — The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) released spring 2021 schedules for the traditional fall sports of football, men's soccer, women's soccer, and women's volleyball on Monday.
Each game is currently scheduled to be played within the provided week in order to allow for flexibility, and is subject to change. Specific dates will be announced for each contest in the near future. Some teams in the CCIW have opted out of competing in the spring. Games may be classified as scrimmages, exhibitions or countable contests as determined by each institution.
Women's volleyball is set to open during the week of February 21, with football, men's soccer, and women's soccer beginning as early as March 20. A spring cross country meet is still being discussed.
Carthage, CCIW, and NCAA officials will continue to monitor federal, state, local, and campus conditions and testing availability, and make changes to schedules as necessary. The CCIW will not keep official conference standings, host official conference tournaments, or announce conference awards. All teams may compete against conference and non-conference opponents after completing their currently proposed CCIW schedules.
