In the final set, the Red Men went up 14-9 until a Big Blue attack error and an ace from Eric Winter pushed the margin to 17-12. Millikin rallied to get as close as four, however, a kill by Peyton Wieter gave Carthage the sweep 25-20.
The Red Men stay on the road facing North Park on Wednesday, March 11 beginning at 7 p.m.
"Great win by us today and getting conference wins on the road are always a battle. Really proud of the way
Mik Brunovskis and Peyton Weiter played offensively.
Eric Winter continues to be solid for us both with his blocking and offense and it opens up our pins to score at a high rate. We did a nice job digging balls in the back court and extending some rallies. Excited to continue our hot streak!"
