KENOSHA, WIS.—Home cooking will be on the Carthage College women's soccer team's (2-1-1, 0-0 CCIW) side for the coming weeks as nine of their next 10 contests will be played at Art Keller Field. Two of those home bouts occur this week as the Lady Reds take on Viterbo University on Wednesday, September 12 at 5:00 p.m., and UW-La Crosse on Saturday, September 15 at 1:00 p.m.

ABOUT VITERBO UNIVERSITY (3-3, 0-0 NSAA)
The V-Hawks, a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics' (NAIA) North Star Athletic Conference, eye their second win against an NCAA Division III opponent this season after they defeated Marian University 3-2 on August 31. Sydney King paces all Viterbo scorers with three goals and one assist for seven points, along with a team-leading 25 shots. Nicole D'Ambrose, Madisyn Irwin and Macey Kalscheur round out the Viterbo scorers with a pair of goals each.
Goalkeeper Abby Breitbach has started five-of-six games for Viterbo this season, and carries a .684 save percentage and a 1.80 goals against average.
The V-Hawks registered a 5-8-4 record last season, which included two losses to NCAA Division III teams in UW-Whitewater (2-0) and UW-Stout (1-0). The Lady Reds carry a 3-0 all-time record against Viterbo, who's led by head coach Scott Pirnstill (ninth season).
ABOUT UW-LA CROSSE (1-2-1, 0-0 WIAC)
The Eagles' lone victory this season occurred in a 2-1 decision over #24 Virginia Wesleyan University on September 1. Their lone tie came of the 4-4 variety against CCIW-foe Illinois Wesleyan University on September 8.
UW-La Crosse, the defending WIAC Regular Season and Tournament Champion, are led by Kaitlyn Villars' two goals, one assist and five points. Margaret Harings is on Villars' heels with one goal and two assists for four points. Lily Brock commands the Eagle goalkeepers with 21 saves and a 2.46 goals against average over four starts.
The Lady Reds carry a 4-2 all-time record against UW-La Crosse, which includes a 3-0 loss last season. The Eagles' 2017 season ended with a 4-0 loss to University of Chicago in the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament Elite Eight. Jason Murphy is in his fifth season as UW-La Crosse head women's soccer coach.
