The Cardinals dodged a six-game losing skid with a 2-1 OT victory over Carroll (Wis.) on October 6. A 2-0 victory over UW-Whitewater on September 9, and a 6-1 loss to #18 University of Chicago on September 20 make up North Central's non-conference common opponents with the Lady Reds.

Lexi Dimovski leads the Cardinals scorers with four goals and two assists for 10 points, along with a team-high 33 shots and 19 shots on goal. North Central's (Ill.)Â 0.58 assists per game, 2.75 points per game, .675 save percentage, 1.08 scoring offense, seven assists and 33 points ranks them last in the CCIW.

Goalkeepers Gretchen Frantz and Madison Lockard, who each have six appearances for the Cardinals, collectively own a 1.08 goals against average and a .800 save percentage.

Andrew Gamarra (44-36-6) is in his third season as North Central (Ill.) head women's soccer coach. Carthage carries a 14-5-4 all-time record against the Cardinals.

ABOUT ILLINOIS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY (9-2-1, 2-1-0 CCIW)

The Titans' losses this season occurred against Hope College (2-1) on August 31 and Wheaton College (1-0) on September 29. Their only non-conference common opponent with Carthage was UW-La Crosse, whom they battled to a 4-4 score on September 8.

Illinois Wesleyan paces all CCIW teams with 2.17 assists per game, much due to Flower Edington's conference-leading six assists. Edington leads the Titan scorers with seven goals and six assists for 20 points. Rosie Pettenuzzo is second with seven goals and three assists for 17 points while Cameron Hindel's 13 points rounds out the double-digit scorers in Illinois Wesleyan's lineup.

Titans goalkeeper Kelli McCarthy carries a 0.88 goals against average, a .788 save percentage and a 9-2-1 win-loss record over 12 starts.
Leading Illinois Wesleyan in his first season is head coach Tony Dulak. Carthage owns a 9-14-4 all-time mark against the Titans. Illinois Wesleyan is one season removed from an appearance in the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament, where they fell to Ohio Northern 2-0 in the second round.
