The Thunder will enter Wednesday's bout having won eight of their last nine games after suffering a 2-1 loss to unbeaten Washington University (Mo.) on October 20. The October 17 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Central Regional Ranking has Wheaton at #2, only trailing Washington University (Mo.).

The defending CCIW Regular Season and Tournament Champion Thunder are led by Aeva Graber's five goals and six assists for 16 points. Sara Bakke paces the Wheaton goal scorers with seven while Isabelle Oliver commands all CCIW women's soccer players with three game-winning goals.

Thunder goalkeeper Lauren Ketchum ranks second in the CCIW with a 0.75 goals against average while carrying a .795 save percentage over 14 starts.

Pete Felske (501-126-35) is in his 31
st season as Wheaton (Ill.) head women's soccer coach. Felske is two wins shy of tying Joe Russo (The College of New Jersey) for second place on the NCAA Division III women's soccer all-time wins list. He ranks sixth in career wins across all divisions of NCAA Women's Soccer. The Lady Reds are 1-26 all-time against Wheaton (Ill.).Â

The Vikings will square-off against UW-Platteville on Wednesday, October 27 before ending their 2018 regular season against Carthage. Augustana is on the verge of qualifying for the 2018 CCIW Women's Soccer Tournament after being on the outside-looking-in over the past two seasons. Â

The Vikings pace all CCIW teams in assists per game (2.13), goals against average (0.59), points per game (7.50), save percentage (.853), scoring offense (2.69), total assists (34), total goals (43) and total points (120).
Patrolling Augustana's net is Sydney Ion, who leads the CCIW in goals against average (0.60) and save percentage (.853). Andria Serra (7g) and Lauren Muzzaluo (6g, 2a) command the Augustana scorers with 14 points apiece while Abby Wendell's nine assists leads all CCIW players.
