KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College women's soccer team (6-5-3, 0-2-2 CCIW) will pursue their first CCIW victory of 2018 at North Park University on Wednesday, October 17 at 5:00 p.m. before they host Millikin University in their home finale on Saturday, October 20 at 5:00 p.m. for senior day.

The Vikings, fresh off a 2-0 win over Wisconsin Lutheran on October 14, eye their first CCIW victory of 2018. Junior Sam Moreno paces all CCIW players with 14 goals, 30 points, 3.00 shots on goal per game, 2.31 points per game, 1.08 goals per game and three game-winning goals. Clara Wernbo rounds out the Vikings' double-digit point scorers with five goals and two assists for 12 points.

Theresa Weiss and Cassandra Fajardo have seen the bulk of time in net for a North Park goalkeeper staff that carries a 2.28 goals against average and a .775 save percentage over 13 games.

Kimberly Uetrecht is in her first season as North Park head women's soccer coach. The Lady Reds carry a 17-5-1 all-time record against the Vikings.

The Big Blue will begin their week with a Wednesday-night bout at #10 Wheaton College. Goalkeeper Jennifer Miller commands a Millikin unit that leads the CCIWÂ with 6.08 saves per game. Miller ranks second among CCIW goalkeepers with 61 saves, and sits third with 5.55 saves per game.

The Lady Reds will look to tame a Millikin offense that ranks last in the CCIW in scoring offense (1.08). Leading the Big Blue offense is Lucy Kroger, who owns five goals and two assists for 12 points.
