KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College women's soccer team (5-3-2, 0-1-1 CCIW) will embark on a four-game home stretch that begins with their second ranked opponent of the 2018 season in #3 University of Chicago on Tuesday, October 2 at 7:00 p.m. The Lady Reds will wrap-up non-conference play with a home bout against Lake Forest College on Saturday, October 6 at 1:00 p.m.

The Maroons are six days removed (Sept. 25) from a 2-1 loss to Wheaton College (Ill.). Their lone tie occurred on September 12, where they battled Hope College to a 1-1 score. Chicago's common opponents to date with Carthage includes Kalamazoo (W, 3-2), Carroll (W, 2-0), UW-Oshkosh (W, 4-0) and Calvin (W, 2-1).

Senior Jenna McKinney paces all UAA players with seven goals and 0.70 goals per game, and leads Chicago with 15 points (7g, 1a). Junior Hanna Watkins' five goals and two assists for 12 points rounds out the Maroons' double-digit point scorers.

Patrolling the Chicago goal is sophomore Miranda Malone, who sports a .706 save percentage and a .080 goals against average across 10 starts. The Lady Reds are 1-8-2 all-time against the Maroons, which includes a 7-1 loss last season. Chicago ended the 2017 campaign with a 1-0 loss to Williams College in the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer National Championship Game.

The Forester's lone common opponent to date with Carthage is MSOE, whom they dropped a 2-0 decision to on September 13. A 4-1 advantage over Edgewood College on September 15 marks Lake Forest's lone victory over their last eight games.

Pacing the Forester scorers is sophomore defender Morgan Henrichs and freshman forward Julia Larson, who each carry four goals for eight points. Sandra Greco and Paige Thiel command a Lake Forest goalkeeping unit that sports a .586 save percentage and a 2.00 goals against average over 12 games.

nd season is head coach T.R. Bell (234-143-15). The Lady Reds are 13-4 all-time against Lake Forest.
