NAPERVILLE, ILL.—The Carthage College women's soccer team (3-2, 0-0 CCIW) will open their third week of the 2017 season at Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference member (WIAC) UW-Oshkosh on Wednesday, September 13 at 6:00 p.m. The Lady Reds will return home for a showdown with Aurora University on Sunday, September 17 at 1:00 p.m.

The first win-streak of 2017 is on the line for a Carthage team that's coming off a 4-3 OT victory over St. Norbert College on September 9, thanks to Kelsey Dejno's game-winning header in the 100th minute. Dejno, the reigning CCIW Women's Soccer Player of the Week, paces Carthage in scoring with five goals for 10 points. Her two game-winning goals this season ranks ninth among all NCAA Division III women's soccer players. As a team, the Lady Reds pace the CCIW with 5.60 saves per game, and 13 total assists.

Emily Furmanek, who owns a pair of starts this season, leads the Carthage goalkeeping corps with a 2.25 goals against average and a .731 save percentage.
