DALLAS, Tex. – The Carthage College men's soccer season opener against the University of St. Thomas in Houston has been cancelled due to the historic flooding suffered by the fourth largest city in the United States. 
 
Over the past few days, torrential rains have dumped record amounts of rain on Houston, thus forcing the Red Men out of Houston and inland towards Dallas.
 
Carthage will now open their season on Friday in the Big D as the Red Men face Dallas Christian College on Friday at noon.
