Final Results
KENOSHA, Wis. – The Carthage College Lady Reds completed their 2017 portion of the schedule on Saturday with a win, as the women's swimming and diving team topped Augustana College in a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin dual meet, 181-65.

The win for the Lady Reds moves Carthage to 6-0 on the year in head-to-head meets, while Augustana loses for the first time, falling to 4-1.

Saturday saw the Lady Reds take first in every event on the afternoon, starting with the 200 medley relay win by
Heather Walker,
Hannah Miles,
Kate Hugo and
Becca Rutkowski [1:53.13]. Each of them also turned in individual wins as well, with Rutkowski leading the Lady Reds on the day with top finishes in the 100 backstroke [1:03.20] and 100 freestyle [53.75].Â
Hannah Miles took first in the 50 breaststroke [31.34], and Walker and Hugo tied for first in the 50 back [30.37].

DeAnn Jones also had a strong day at Koenitzer Aquatic Center, taking first in the 50 free [24.26], 200 free [2:02.98] and joined Rutkowski, along with
Sara Findley and
Gianna McGuire to win the 200 free relay [1:39.18] in the final event of the day. Findley and McGuire followed suit with their teammates as each picked up a win in the 100 butterfly [1:02.63] and 50 fly [27.52] respectively.

Other Lady Reds turning in first place finishes for Carthage in the win included
Hannah Pearson in the 1000 free [11:23.09],
Anna Thomsen in 100 breast [1:10.93],
Meghan Koterba in the 500 free [5:25.13] and finally Shea Taylor in the 200 individual medley [2:23.22].

The Lady Reds will return to action in January with their first meet of 2018 taking place on the 20
th at Wheaton College.
