LAKE FOREST, Ill. - The Carthage College Lady Reds won their first dual meet of the season, dominating the Foresters of Lake College on Saturday, 147-84.

Rebecca Rutkowski and DeAnn Jones were each part of three first place finishes to lead Carthage on the night.  Rutkowski took first a pair of individual events, touching the wall first in the 100 free [1:02.30] and 200 free [2:16.36].  For Jones, she won the 50 free and was a member of 200 medley relay [2:06.14] and 200 free relay [1:53.37] teams that won as well.  Rutkowski rounded out her night joining Jones on the 200 free relay.  Along with Jones on the 200 medley were Allison Marsh, Hannah Miles and Gianna McGuire, while Emily Wright, Sara Findley teamed up with Rutkowski and Jones in the 200 free relay.

Hannah Miles was also one-of-three other Lady Reds to win an individual event on the night, taking first the 100 breaststroke [1:18.38].  Rounding out the night for the Lady Reds, Hannah Pearson won the 800 free [9:49.51] and Shae Taylor won the 200 IM [2:40.22].

The Lady Reds will return to the pool next weekend for a two day event at Calvin College for the Calvin Invitational.  Events are scheduled to begin Friday, November 3rd at 6:00 p.m.
