FULL GAME NOTES
THE GAME
-The Carthage College women's basketball team will travel to #21 UW-Stevens Point on Wednesday, November 30 for a 7:00 p.m. game. The Lady Reds will open CCIW play against Millikin University at Tarble Arena on Saturday, December 3 at 5:00 p.m.
-UW-Stevens Point's lone loss this season came in a 76-65 decision at University of St. Thomas on November 27. Autumn Hennes leads the Pointers in scoring with 16.4 points per game, and commands the WIAC with a .938 free-throw percentage.Â
-Lauren Anklam paces UW-Stevens Point with 15 assists and 14 steals.
-Millikin University will take a two-game win streak into their contest with the Lady Reds on December 3. This includes an 80-66 win over Eureka on November 22, and an 88-53 victory over MacMurray on November 28.Â
-The Big Blue rank eighth in NCAA Division III with 9.8 three-point field goals per game, and 12th with a .419 three-point field goal percentage.Â
-Yanni Saddler leads the Millikin scoring attack with 19.0 points per game. Rachael Webber paces the Big Blue with 20 assists and 12 steals.
THE COACHES
-Shirley Enger is in her 28th season as UW-Stevens Point head women's basketball coach. Her 509 career victories ranks 17th among active NCAA Division III women's basketball coaches while her .698 career-winning percentage is good enough for 36th.Â
-Lori Kerans is in her 31st season as Millikin University head women's basketball coach. Her 538 career victories ranks 22nd in NCAA Division III women's basketball history.Â
THE SERIES
-The Lady Reds carry a 1-4 all-time record against UW-Stevens Point. The Pointers defeated Carthage 63-60 at Tarble Arena on December 5, 2015.
-Carthage owns a 24-37 all-time mark against Millikin University.
LAST TIME OUT
-Carthage's 1-1 record last week included an 87-50 victory over Coe College on November 22, followed by an 86-81 loss to University of Chicago on November 27.
-As a team, the Lady Reds tied for a school record 15 three-pointers in their victory over Coe.Â
-Autumn Kalis had a breakout performance against Coe with six three-pointers and 24 points.
-The Carthage defense held Coe to .279 (19-68) from the field, and .188 (6-32) from the three-point line.
-Madie Kaelber registered a career-high 28 points for Carthage in their 86-81 OT loss to University of Chicago on November 27.

ROOKIE SENSATION
Carthage's leading scorers in both games last week were freshman. Kalis's 24 points led Carthage in their 87-50 win over Coe while Kaelber's 28 points paced the team in an 86-81 OT loss to University of Chicago.
RECORD WATCH
Harris sits in first place on the Carthage College record book with an .809 (178-220) career free-throw percentage.Â
CONFERENCE/NATIONAL RANKINGS
Carthage ranks sixth in NCAA Division III with 47 three-point field goals made. As a team, the Lady Reds rank first in the CCIW, and 16th in NCAA Division III with a .796 free-throw percentage. Harris 's 34 free throws on the season ranks third among all NCAA Division III women's basketball players. Harris and Mandy Hozzian rank 26th in NCAA Division III with a .550 three-point field goal percentage.Â
FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING
Bethel University, Stevenson University and Allegheny College make up the trio of opponents on the 2016-17 slate the Lady Reds have never faced. The Lady Reds defeated Bethel University 70-61 on November 18.Â
DEJA VU STRIKES AGAIN
The Lady Reds opened the home portion of their schedule with an 87-50 victory over Coe College on November 22. The last time Carthage played their first home game on November 22 was in 2014, when they defeated UW-La Crosse 62-41.
30-POINT FIGURES
Harris registered a career-high 38 points in the Lady Red's 81-77 loss to Loras College on November 15, which marked her second career 30-point contest. She tallied 30 points in Carthage's 64-58 win over Loras College on November 18, 2015.Â
CAREER-HIGHS
Kaelber (28 points, 10 field goals, five three-point field goals, six free throws, four rebounds, three steals vs. Chicago) and Kalis (24 points, nine field goals, six three-point field goals vs. Coe) tallied career-highs for the Lady Reds last week.Â
BALANCED ATTACK
Six different Lady Reds have scored in double figures through five games of the 2016-17 season.Â
