The Carthage College men's volleyball team (4-2, 2-0 Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League), ranked No. 6 in the Feb. 10 American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division III poll, defeated conference-opponent and No. 14 the Milwaukee School of Engineering (8-3, 1-2 MCVL), 3-1, on Thursday, Feb. 12 at the Kern Center in Milwaukee. The Red Men's winning set scores over the Raiders were 17-25, 29-27, 25-22 and 25-15.
Carthage's
Ryan Paull (So., Chicago, Ill./Brother Rice) had 10 kills with a .500 attack percentage, four block solos and four block assists.
Jon Storm (Sr., Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) had 10 kills with six digs and three block assists, and
Will Craft (Jr., Crete, Ill./Chicago Heights-Marian Catholic) collected eight kills with five digs and three bock assists. Setter
Tyler Saieg (So., Woodridge, Ill./Downers Grove-North) totaled 41 assists. Nick Manning led MSOE with 16 kills and six digs.
Carthage travels to Dubuque, Iowa, on Saturday, Feb. 14 to play conference-opponent Loras College (0-6, 0-1 MCVL) in a 7:30 p.m. match at the Athletic and Wellness Center.
