Results

The Carthage College women's swimming team (3-1) lost to Wheaton College (Ill.), 141-101 on Friday, Jan. 16 at the Chrouser Fitness Center Natatorium in Wheaton, Ill.  The meet results also included diving events that were conducted at the Lake Forest College Sports Center on Saturday, Jan. 17.
 
Carthage's Zoe Rodriguez (Fr., Kenosha, Wis./Bradford) won both the one-meter diving event (223.55) and the three-meter event (232.30).  Lisa Perdue placed first in the 1,000 freestyle (11:15.07).  Ashley Gladis (Sr., Batavia, Ill.) was second in both the 200 individual medley (1:42.80) and in the 200 butterfly (1:01.47).  Taylor Hutton (Sr., Naperville, Ill./North) finished second in the 1,000 freestyle (11:15.07), as did Kailin Potter in the 100 freestyle (56.81), Kate Hugo in the 100 backstroke (1:01.55) and Liz Olson (Jr. Forest City, Iowa) in the 100 breastroke (1:10.64)
 
The Lady Reds play host to Augustana College (Ill.) on Saturday, Jan. 24 in a Noon meet at the Koenitzer Aquatic Center in Kenosha, Wis.
