Box Score The Carthage College women's soccer team (1-3-0, 0-0-0 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin) snapped a three-game, season-opening losing streak on Sunday, Sept. 7 with a 3-0 win over Hiram College (1-2-0) at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis. 
 
Carthage took a 1-0 lead in the first half when Kayla McGuiness (So., Solana Beach, Calif./Santa Fe Christian) scored, assisted by Corinne Brennan, at 19:26.  The Lady Reds made it 2-0 at 62:36 second half on a goal by Alexis Fahlbeck (Sr., Rockford, Ill./Boylan Catholic), assisted by Kayla McGuiness.  Carthage tallied a third goal at 83:41 by Jessica Socha (Sr., Crestwood, Ill./Chicago-Marist), assisted by Cori Calcaterra.  The Lady Reds out-shot the Terriers, 13-4.
  
Carthage plays host to No. 22 Loras College (3-2-0) on Wednesday, Sept. 10 in a 7 p.m. game, also at Art Keller Field.
