Lauren Szumski. The Cardinals' Nicholette Fulk had a shot with one second remaining in regulation that was saved by Carthage goalkeeper
Abby Alm. Gaither then scored the game-winning goal at 97:38 in overtime, assisted by Caitlin Orawiec. Carthage had an 18-6 advantage in shots and a 6-1 margin in corner kicks, Lady Reds goalkeeper
