Box Score The Carthage College women's volleyball team (21-2, 3-0 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin), ranked 20th in the Oct. 14 American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division III poll, swept CCIW-opponent North Central College (16-6, 0-3 CCIW), 3-0, on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at Gregory Arena/Merner Fieldhouse in Naperville, Ill.  The Lady Reds' winning set scores over the Cardinals were 25-20, 25-23 and 25-12.
 
Rachel Fields (Sr., Chicago, Ill./Oak Park-Fenwick) led the Lady Reds with nine kills.  Bria Hailey (Jr., Hanover Park, Ill./Schaumburg) and Megan Fallert (Fr., Maplewood, Minn./Roseville-Concordia Academy) each had seven kills with .462 attack percentages and two block assists.  Emily Heuermann (Jr. Washington, Ill.) had seven kills and hit .278.  Setter Karen Chin (Jr., Mundelein, Ill.) averaged 10.00 assists per set.
 
The Lady Reds play host to conference-opponent and No. 8 Elmhurst College (25-4, 2-1 CCIW) on Friday, Oct. 17 in a 7 p.m. match at Tarble Arena in Kenosha, Wis.
