Box Score The Carthage College women's soccer team (7-2-0, 1-1-0 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) evened its conference record at 1-1-0 on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 5 with a 4-0 win over Millikin University (5-6-0, 0-3-0 CCIW) at the Millikin Soccer Complex in Decatur, Ill.

Carthage took a 1-0 lead at 7:30 when Rachel Post (So., New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln-Way Central) scored, her sixth goal of the year, and assisted by Kayla McGuinness. The Lady Reds took a 2-0 first-period lead on an unassisted goal by Monica Rosenberger (Sr., Park Ridge, Ill./Maine South) at 24:39. Carthage scored twice in the second period for the final, 4-0 margin. Corinne Brennan scored her 10th goal of the year, unassisted at 63:42, and Alexis Fahlbeck scored at 74:56, assisted by Sam Anderson. The Lady Reds out-shot the Big Blue, 16-5.

Carthage plays host to defending-CCIW-champion and No. 28 Augustana College (Ill., 8-1-2, 1-0-0) on Wednesday, Oct. 9 in a 5 p.m. game at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.
