The Red Men smoked the Eagles for seven goals in the first half.

Mike Heika.
Jordan Innis (Sr., Lake in the Hills, Ill./Crystal Lake-South) scored at 15:25, his 10th goal of the year, assisted by
Taylor Pignataro. Following Innis' score came goals by
Drew Liogas (Sr., Gurnee, Ill./Warren Township) at 23:08, assisted by Innis;
Petar Tijanic (So., Glenview, Ill./Park Ridge-Maine East) at 27:21, assisted by
Greg Pignataro;
Frank Delgado (Sr., Lake Geneva, Wis./Badger) at 33:50, assisted by
Erhan Caglayan; and
Shane Reilly (Fr., Libertyville, Ill.) at 33:30, assisted by
Stephen Korosis.
Carthage made it an 8-0 contest at 55:19 second period when Innis score his second goal of the game, assisted by
Vladimir Schlageter. Schlageter (Sr., St. Charles, Ill./North) scored at 56:50, assisted by Heika, and the score went to 9-0. The Red Men closed out the scoring at 10-0 at 68:10 on Delgado's second goal of the game. Carthage out-shot Robert Morris-Lake County by a 32-4 margin.
Carthage plays host to CCIW-opponent Wheaton College (Ill., 6-3-2, 0-0-1 CCIW) on Wednesday, Oct. 3 in a 7:30 p.m. game, also at Art Keller Field.
