Box Score The Carthage College women's soccer team (2-4-2, 0-0-0 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) lost to the University of Chicago (5-2-0), 5-1, on Thursday, Sept. 20 at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.
 
Chicago took a 2-0 lead in the first period behind goals by Sara Kwan at 3:25, and Natalia Jovanovic at 11:41.  The Maroons then proceeded to double up the margin with two scores within a minute of each other, just as the second period got underway.  Kwan scored her second goal of the game at 46:26, her seventh of the year, and Brigette Kragie added the Maroons' fourth goal at 47:17. 

The Lady Reds got on the scoreboard at 52:20 on a goal by Rachel Jason (Sr., Deerfield, Ill.), her fourth of the year and assisted by Alyssa Baker.  Chicago's Brigette Kragie tacked on her second goal of the game at 87:52 to close out the scoring at 5-1.  Kragie's bid for a third goal was waived off at 88:24.
 
On Sunday, Sept. 23, Carthage travels to Appleton, Wis., to take on Lawrence University (3-5-0) in a 1 p.m. tilt at Whiting Field.
