Lady Reds Play Host to the University of Chicago on Thursday

Box Score The Carthage College women's soccer team (2-3-2, 0-0-0 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) nipped the University of Dubuque (2-4-1), 1-0, on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis. 

Carthage broke 79 minutes of scoreless soccer when Rachel Jason (Sr., Deerfield, Ill.) scored on a penalty kick at 79:17 second period.  The Jason goal was all the scoring, as the Lady Reds had a narrow, 11-10 edge in shots over the Spartans.  On Thursday, Sept. 20, the Lady Reds entertain the University of Chicago (4-2) in a 5 p.m. contest, also at Art Keller Field.
