"This was just two great teams battling in front of hundreds  of people,” said Carthage coach Steve Domin  “There aren't many places we go, and we go coast to coast, were I am in awe of a soccer environment, but today was one of them.  There wasn't a weak player on the field for either team, and the fans got their money worth.  Both teams could have traded attacks for another hour entertaining the crowd.  Frank Delgado and Petar Tijanic had special goals today, and were well earned.  It certainly was a hard-fought game and win, but we felt good about dictating the pace and the shots.  Of the 30-plus shots we took, many of them could have fallen in  Their goal keeper was the man of the match for them."

On Saturday, Sept. 15, the Red Men take on Albion College (1-4) in a 3 p.m., EDT game at Sprankle-Sprandel Stadium in Albion, Mich.
