Box Score The Carthage College women's volleyball team (4-1, 1-0 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin), ranked 16th in the Sept. 11 American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division III poll, opened its CCIW-schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 11 with a 3-0 win over Wheaton College (Ill., 1-9, 0-1 CCIW) at King Arena in Wheaton, Ill.  The Lady Reds' winning set scores over the Thunder were 25-21, 25-19 and 25-19.

Angelica Walinski (Jr., Skokie, Ill./Niles North) collected a team-high 11 kills for the Lady Reds.  Bria Hailey (Fr., Hanover Park, Ill./Schaumburg) had 10 kills with a .643 attack percentage (10-1-14), while Emily Heuermann (Fr., Washington, Ill.) had nine kills.  Setter Hanna Cahoon (So., Watertown, Wis.) averaged 8.67 assists per set.
 
On Friday-Saturday, Sept. 14-15, the Lady Reds play host to the Carthage Tournament at Tarble Arena in Kenosha, Wis.  Carthage plays St. Mary's College (Ind.) on Friday, Sept. 14 at 5:30 p.m. and No. 13 the University of Chicago at 7:30 p.m.  On Saturday, Sept. 15, the Lady Reds take on Dominican University (Ill.) at Noon and St. Norbert College at 2 p.m.
