Box Score The Carthage College women's soccer team (4-6-3, 0-2-1 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) lost to CCIW-opponent Millikin University (4-7-2, 1-2-0), 2-1 in double-overtime, on Saturday, Oct. 6 at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.
 
Carthage took an early lead when Jessica Socha (So., Crestwood, Ill./Chicago-Marist) scored on a penalty kick at 4:30 first period.  That score held up for the next 68 minutes until the Big Blue's Sarah Christy scored her eighth goal of the year at 71:42.  Following a scoreless overtime period, Millikin's Jenny Zima scored with 31 seconds remaining in the second overtime to give the Big Blue a 2-1 decision.  Millikin out-shot Carthage, 14-9. 

The Lady Reds travel to Rock Island, Ill., on Wednesday, Oct. 10 to play CCIW-opponent Augustana College (Ill.) in a 5 p.m. game at Thorsen-Lucken Field.
