“Lake Forest was a good mid-week game against a good opponent,” said Carthage coach
Steve Domin. “We were a little nervous about one of their players, Mahir Mameledzija, who's one of the top scorers in the nation, but we kept him out of goal. That was a good effort by
Will Veliz and the back line. We played
Lucas Dykstra, our backup goalkeeper, and that worked out pretty well.” Carthage travels to Chicago on Saturday night, Oct. 20 to take on CCIW-opponent North Park University (8-2-4, 2-0-2 CCIW) in a 7:30 p.m. contest at the Holmgren Athletic Complex.
