Box Score The Carthage College women's soccer team (4-7-3, 0-3-1 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) lost to CCIW-opponent Augustana College (Ill., 10-3-0, 3-0-0 CCIW), 3-0, on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at Thorsen-Lucken Field in Rock Island, Ill.  The Vikings were ranked sixth the Oct. 9 National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire NCAA Central Region poll.
 
Augustana (Ill.) took a 1-0 first-half lead behind a goal by Jessica Kras at 20:06.  The Vikings scored two times in exactly one minute 10 minutes into the second period to take a 3-0 lead.  Kelly Farrell tallied a goal at 55:42, followed by a score by Somer Druszkowski at 56:42.  Druszkowski's goal closed out the scoring.  Augustana out-shot Carthage, 24-5.  

The Lady Reds travel to Naperville, Ill., on Saturday, Oct. 13 to take on conference-opponent North Central College (5-7-1, 1-2-0 CCIW) in a 5 p.m. contest at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.
