The Carthage College women's soccer team (2-3-1, 0-0-0 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) lost to Lake Forest College (5-1-0), 2-1 in overtime, on Sunday, Sept. 18 at Farwell Field in Lake Forest, Ill.

Following a scoreless first period, Carthage's Rachel Jason (Jr., Deerfield, Ill.) scored at 46:09, assisted by Katy Rosenbrook. The Foresters' Megan O'Connor tied the game with a goal at 52:10, assisted by Courtney Raymond. Michele Giurovici scored the game-winning goal for Lake Forest at 93:01 in overtime, assisted by Isabel Brown. The Lady Reds out-shot the Foresters by a 21-6 margin.

Carthage plays host to Carroll University (1-3) on Wednesday, Sept. 21 in a 7 p.m. game at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.
