The Carthage College women's soccer team (2-2-1, 0-0-0 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) evened up its season record on Tuesday night, Sept. 13 with a 2-0 shutout over Concordia University (Wis., 1-3-0) at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.

Carthage scored once in each period. Kayla Tripp (Jr., La Crescent, Minn.) scored, unassisted, at 33:30, and Rachel Jason (Jr., Deerfield, Ill.) scored, assisted by Alyssa Baker, at 72:00. The Lady Reds out-shot the Falcons by a 24-7 margin. Carthage travels to Lake Forest, Ill., on Sunday, Sept. 18 to take on Lake Forest College in a 1 p.m. contest at Farwell Field.
