The Carthage College women's soccer team (4-6-1, 0-1-0 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) was edged by non-conference opponent and No. 19 the University of Chicago (6-3-1), 1-0, on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at Amos Alonzo Stagg Field in Chicago.  The Maroons broke 81 minutes of scoreless soccer with a goal by Allison Hegel, her sixth of the year and assisted by Ellie von Storch, at 81:11.  Chicago out-shot Carthage, 21-3.  The Lady Reds play host to CCIW-opponent Elmhurst College on Saturdat, Oct. 8 in a 1 p.m. clash at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.
