The Carthage College women's soccer team (7-7-1, 2-2-0 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) outlasted St. Norbert College (7-7-1), 3-2 in double-overtime, on Monday, Oct. 17 at Donald J. Schneider Stadium in De Pere, Wis. 

Carthage took a 1-0 lead at 19:35 on a header goal by Rachel Jason (Jr., Deerfield, Ill.), her eighth of the year, off a corner kick and assisted by Alyssa Baker.  St. Norbert tied the game at 22:42 when Katie Vanden Avond scored, assisted by Zoe Kurth. The Green Knights went up, 2-1, at 34:16 when Vanden Avond scored again, assisted by Katherine Larson.  The Lady Reds knotted the contest, 2-2, at 78:22 on a goal by Nanda Holler (So., Chicago, Ill./St. Scholastica Academy), assisted by both Baker and Katy Rosenbrook.  Following a scoreless overtime period, Carthage won the game at 103:39 in the second overtime when Taylor Capek (So., Englewood, Colo./Cherry Creek) scored off a corner kick, assisted again by both Baker and Rosenbrook.  Alyssa Baker (So., Lake Villa, Ill./Lakes Community) totaled three assists in the game. 

On Wednesday, Oct. 19, the Lady Reds travel to Dubuque, Iowa to play the University of Dubuque (8-6-0) in a 6 p.m. contest at the Oyen Soccer Field.
