The Carthage College women's soccer team (7-5-2, 0-3 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) lost to CCIW-opponent and No. 12 Wheaton College (Ill., 12-2, 2-0 CCIW), 6-0, on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis. 

The Thunder took a 3-0 first-half lead behind goals by Keri Shannon at 14:12, Ali Kopleman at 31:39 and the first of two goals by Jaime Orewiler at 34:57. Orewiler's second goal and her 10th of the year at 48:00 second period put Wheaton up, 4-0. Katelyn Kishkunas scored at 52:00, and Kopelman added a second score at 70:00 to close out the scoring at 6-0. The Thunder out-shot the Lady Reds by a 19-6 margin. On Sunday, Oct. 17, Carthage entertains conference-opponent Millikin University in a 1 p.m. contest, also at Art Keller Field.
