The Carthage College women's soccer team (6-11, 0-6 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) lost to the College of St. Benedict (10-5-1), 2-0, on Sunday, Oct. 25 at St. John's University's (Minn.) Durenberger Field in Collegeville, Minn. St. Benedict took a 1-0 lead at 7:22 on a goal by Kelly Suter. The Blazers' Jess Pellegrene added the second goal 45 seconds into the start of the second period at 45:45. The Lady Reds close out the season on Saturday, Oct. 31 by traveling to Bloomington, Ill., to play CCIW-opponent and No. 8 Illinois Wesleyan University (14-2-2, 4-2 CCIW) in a 2:30 p.m. game at the Neis Soccer Field.
