The Carthage College men's soccer team (6-7-4, 3-3 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) nipped St. John's University (Minn., 5-9-2), 1-0, on Sunday, Oct. 25 at Durenberger Field in Collegeville, Minn. Following a scoreless first period, the Red Men's Josh Khoshbin (Jr., Hawthorn Woods, Ill./Lake Zurich) broke the tie with a goal on a corner kick, assisted by Andrew Gamarra, at 47:27. Carthage closes out is regular-season schedule on Saturday, Oct. 31 by traveling to Bloomington, Ill., to play CCIW-opponent Illinois Wesleyan University (5-8-3, 2-3-1 CCIW) in a 5 p.m. contest at the Neis Soccer Field.
