The Carthage College men's soccer team (4-7-4, 3-3 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) closed out its regular-season home schedule on Wednesday, Oct. 21 with a 3-0 win over CCIW-opponent North Central College (7-9, 2-4 CCIW) at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis. All three Carthage goals came in the second half. Tyler Cortez broke the scoreless tie with a goal at 55:00, assisted by Jordan Innis. Aleks Urosevic connected on his fifth goal of the year at 82:00, also assisted by Innis. Tyler Peterson scored with five seconds remaining on the clock to close out the scoring. On Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 24-25, the Red Men travel to Minnesota for a pair of games. On Saturday, Oct. 24, Carthage plays Finlandia University in a 3 p.m. game at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minn. On Sunday, Oct. 24, the Red Men take on St. John's University (Minn.) in a 3 p.m. contest at Durenberger Field in Collegeville, Minn.
