Box Score

The Carthage College women's soccer team (5-9, 0-5 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) lost to CCIW-opponent North Central College (9-5, 2-3 CCIW), 2-1, on Saturday, Oct. 17 at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.  All of the scoring came in the first half.  The Cardinals' Shannon Finucane scored an unassisted goal at 5:25.  Carthage's Sarah Scardamaglia (Jr. West Chicago, Ill.) knotted the score with a goal at 16:14, assisted by Kasie Jabeck.  North Central scored what proved to be the game-winner at 36:40 when Brittany Jones converted a free kick.  Carthage plays host to conference-opponent Elmhurst College on Wednesday, Oct. 21 in a 5 p.m. contest, also at Art Keller Field.
