Xela Davis joins Carthage as the Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant. Davis earned her Bachelor's in Sport Management with a minor in Business from Greenville University in Spring 2026.
In 2025, Xela was part of the Division III Student Immersion Program taken place in Indianapolis. There she networked and learned a great deal about careers in collegiate athletics. Her internship with the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) during the 2024-2025 school year is what complimented the opportunity. In that time she wrote recaps, did photography, and game day event prep.
Additionally, in her senior year of college Davis interned with Prepcasts where she obtained hands-on experience in production, broadcasting, and reporting. In the next two years at Carthage, Xela hopes to expand her knowledge and experience in every aspect of Sports Communication possible to prepare her for future endeavors.
