Mark White

Mark White was hired as the Senior Associate Athletic Director in 2023. As the former Associate Director of Athletics at Dominican (Ill.), White has demonstrated exemplary leadership in overseeing all Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC), NCAA, Title IX, and Dominican (Ill.) rules compliance and education. His comprehensive understanding of regulations and dedication to maintaining a culture of compliance has been instrumental in fostering fair play and ethical practices within the athletics department.

With a solid commitment to gender equity, White has overseen and helped implement policies and procedures that promote inclusivity and equal opportunities within the Department of Athletics. By ensuring a supportive environment for all student-athletes, White has played a vital role in creating an atmosphere that celebrates diversity and empowers individuals to excel both on and off the field.

In his previous role, White supervised full-time administrators and head coaches. His leadership and guidance have been instrumental in fostering professional development, strategic planning, and effective execution of athletic programs. Under his support and leadership, the Athletics Department has thrived, achieving notable successes in NCAA compliance and academic excellence.

A former Chair of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Eligibility Committee in 2009-2010, White demonstrated his commitment to upholding the highest standards of eligibility compliance. His expertise and leadership in navigating NCAA regulations were further acknowledged through his participation in the NCAA Division III Regional Rules Seminar Working Group, where they played a pivotal role in planning and developing the programming for the 2015 NCAA Division III regional rules seminar.

Throughout White's tenure at Dominican (Ill.), the athletics department achieved remarkable success. With his support and collaborative efforts, several teams qualified for the NCAA National Tournament, and a culture of academic excellence was established within the Department of Athletics.

In addition to his administrative duties, White was the head men's basketball coach and men's golf coach at Dominican while being a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the National Association of Division III Athletics Administrators.
