David Arvai

Coach Arvai enters his fourth season as the Carthage College men's & women's diving coach.  During the 2024-2025 season, Coach Arvai produced CCIW Conference one-meter and three-meter Champions (freshman Taydin Murphy one-meter & three-meter Champion, and three-meter Champion freshman Gabriella Garcia). Coach Arvai is also the Lead Coach for the Schroeder Diving Team's Racine location (AAU/US Diving). Arvai has been the Head Girls' Diving Coach at Racine Case High School since 2003, where he has coached numerous SEC conference, WIAA Sectional, and State Champions. He is a four-time Wisconsin Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (WISCA) Division 1 Girls' Diving Coach of the Year. Several of his divers have been named WIAA Division I Diver of the Year.

Arvai holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. While competing for UWM, he was a two-time Mid-Continent Conference Diver of the Year, a four-time NCAA Zone qualifier, and set two school records.

Arvai is a Police K-9 Handler with the City of Racine Police Department. He and his wife, Lisa, have two daughters, Talia and Olivia.
