2011: Competed in both the indoor and outdoor 3,000-meter run.
2010: Finished 27th in the 5,000-meter run (21:19.01) at the CCIW Outdoor Track and Field Championship…finished 22nd in the 5,000-meter run (21:07.09) at the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship.
High School: A two-time state qualifier…coached by her parents, Ernest and Elizabeth Cardenas…three-year member of the soccer and basketball teams…honor student.
Personal: Double major in biology and neuroscience…member of the 2010 Carthage cross country team…named to the spring 2011 Carthage athletic director’s honor roll…born Feb. 3, 1992.
